#FindTheEggs

"Like to activate Eggdar", what a way to get more people to be connected to your brand....

I don't know the tech behind this site but some postcodes are full of eggs and other are empty.

Still it's over in 5 minutes max, it's relevant to Easters and it's a nice use of Street View (even if not the most original one) but am disappointed this end up being a data collection exercise as you have to fill in your name and email to receive the voucher.

EA: Sim City Let's All Be Mayor

If you know you audience can easily spend 100's of hours playing your game, what better way than presenting your game then by letting watch hundred of hours of live gameplay?

This is a simple and cheap solution for people to preview the game with a bit of engagement from the audience (you can vote on a few things live).

The problem is that the hosts aren't funny and they could use Twitter more for live feedback, nevertheless it works as a campaign.

You Are blind

Simply crafted and a good use of webcam technology, but I have an issue with the story.

Too graphic, too dramatic, I think the point could have been made without the shock factor. Nevertheless it's a nice experience that make you think.

Cravendale: Epic Straw

The website isn't going to win any design award but the campaign is nice and simple, if only they had partner with https://diy.org/ this could have been really interesting.

Another issue is that I can not find a simple gallery without having to join our register, it's for kid it should be as open as possible to start with.

It's cool, it's interactive, it represents summer and vacation, it's near perfect. The robot was off when I tried it so I really hope you can share your skipping video as this would bring a nice level of social sharing.

Skype Humoticon

I actually fell for it and though I could actually create my own emoticons for Skype, instead I get a .Gif that I am supposed to share and be grateful for.  http://3fr.ms/  or  http://gifninja.com/ have been helping us doing that for years without forgetting all the new apps out there.

The gallery is full of copyrighted material or static picture, hardly amazing stuff.

So I don't get it, I don't get why should I share this or even or I could actually use my humoticon more than once.

Also the call to action link takes you to the Skype website and not on the Skype app on Facebook, surely if you want people to try out your product make them use it on the platform you have a deal with and where people have friends. Then if they like it they might try the full product.

Justin Bieber 18th

Catch 22 this one, if you take the piss or are rude they are still recording it as a messages, therefore you are increasing their chance to be in the Guiness World Record Book. So actually a clever campaign as they know the fans will lap it up....

25 Years Ubi

A really hard game but who care? it's fun even if not original. A good initiative from Ubi to give some limelight to his studios and the execution is polished.

I haven't got a clue how this is going to work but it's sure going to be interesting.

Wonka Wrapper

In principle the idea should be fun, in practically it doesn't work as you can not hold the pack and use your mouse at the same time in an elegant manner. Also the reaction time is poor. So what do you get in the end? lots of video of kids that don't know what to do.

Signed Finds

How to help people visit a charity store? simply put a signed T-shirt of a cool artist and hide it. It make sense and it's a nice way to bring in a young audience.

Virgin Radio: Youtube Takeover

The great thing about this campaign is that not only the "teaser" is actually funny and clever but the takeover only happen once you clicked at the end so it's seen as a reward instead of an intrusive add.

Doritos and max

A cool comic experience for sure, the soundtrack is actually impressive...but the interactions are sadly not enough in my view. As for the story we have to see what happen in episode 2 but this seems like a take on Kickarse and Spiderman. The most interesting thing about the campaign is that the evil genius is called OMGenius and the name is already taken on Twitter and various social places, therefore it seems that the campaign will not be as integrate and fun as one hoped.

The Planet Zero

Awesome web site that let the user experience clean energy. Am not sure if the target audience will appreciate the effort and beauty of the site or if they will associate the green message with Nissan but nevertheless this is an engaging site.

Lego: Builder of Infinity

The longest Jump'n'run game in the world made entirely of user submitted levels and most impressively designed to work in a banner space. Simple, engaging and old school...

La Folle journee de Julien

Simple film for the teens, has all the clichés you can expect but actually funny.

Of course you only watch it once and the Facebook integration is no more than a way to introduce some selection mechanic but the products integration is actually nicely done in the script.

Evian: Let's baby dance

Let's not forget the original dancing baby! nevertheless this is perfect for the audience as he doesn't required anything else than being in front of your webcam and do a bit of 3 frames of me. They are doing 4 just to be on the legal site am sure. Sadly a catchy tune and hey presto everyone is a winner...genius really...

Attraction

Part of a massive offline, comics, TV and cinema campaign, this is a must see in term of animations. From a web point of view the interactions and Facebook integration are minimals but integrate well with the story. I am not sure what the audience is for this message as I think the under 12 might get it but the over 12 might actually found smoking fascinating.

The modules attached the project talking about the danger of smoking, addictions and so on are sadly really dull and if an effort had been made to make them as sexy at the film then the message could have been better received.

Speedkills

Could have make even better if they add a Facebook app but then again the simplicity probably works for it. Will am sure be share around even if they already reached their target.
