Nokia: Inshootables

A one time only experience, so they made sure the experience was fun and short. 1m25 to play and then a bit more to see how the Nokia camera can help.

Nice use of the characters to display the phone selling points too but they missed the trick of having a special offer on the phones instead of redirecting people to another site.

Intel: The Beauty Inside

Taking its concept from an underground movement of digital film makers creating stories together, Intel is trying to bound everyone and create the ultimate social movie.

Apart from the people selected and their mums I don't see why the general public will spend time on the FB page watching the auditions and then follow the film (If you want a great audition video watch this). Most of these auditions are from under 16 to probably haven't got the catch to buy an Intel PC at the moment.

LG 3D Newsfeed

Promoting a 3D TV on conventional screens is always hard, so LG decided to create a simple utility to demonstrate this and of course FB was chosen as, you know, everyone target audience is on it.

I don't know about you but I just skip my news feed now and again on my mobile, it's simple fast and easy, why on earth I would want to seat in my front room, put a pair of 3D glasses and read the usual blurs this way?

The website is sweet but for as a 2D experience it sucks and am not convinced that it would work in 3D ever. This is the sort thing you show your friends that haven't got a 3D TV and then forgot all about it.

LG: Ticket Hunter

Great competition that only works by spending a lot of money to get it started.

The more you tweet the more the location is revealed. it would be interesting to see the split between students, kids and working people on this one because let's face it how many of us have the time to do this?

Will students and kids remember this is an LG promotion when they have the cash to buy the products? would anyone actually click on the LG Optimus tab? I mean the tweets are coming fast but what is the message? Considering that they have around 2000 tweets and hour, managing only 115 LG likes is a bit shit so let's hope their Twitter followers is increasing.

Panasonic: The Persecution of Rommy Gulla

One problem here: Rommy Gulla is obviously an actor. Do they really think we are going to believe that the poor bloke is unaware of everything that is happening to him?

A quizz is making people come back for a chance to win the Blue-Ray recorder, the rest is a classic "suggest an idea".

LG Ultimate Jellybean count

This is a pretty boring campaign in terms of interactivity but considering that we are talking about white goods , that the message is about the large capacity of the fridge than it's not a bad response. Low level of engagement and a bit of humour. Maybe they could start a theme?

Next week: How many creative can you fit in the fridge?

Philips Obsessed with sound

Absolutely love the concept and the integration of personalised data for each of the musician, the "unheard playlist" and the social links are really nice ides a and bring you closer to the people (as seen in the Diesel's site before). Check out Nola Exel (Flute) she misses her first note...

I personally don't like the actually track and listening to it via a laptop' speakers is pretty crap but this should not detract for a really innovative way of exploring an orchestra piece.

Mon minou tout doux

I like innuendo but this pussy joke is really poor and the site, song and video are not better.

I would have had more respect if they had use real actors or maybe a webcam function where you could do a virtual shaving of your private bits. Actually I want to build this now!

Facebook BT

More than 9000 people voted on what type of dress Jane should wear, are they all BT employees? Come on people haven't you got something better to do?

This is the part where are should praise BT for trying to do something a bit different but I can't be bother as it seems that the share and Submit button are broken, well in Chrome anyway.

Blackberry Playbook

In an effort to let your experience the product, Blackberry create a fun app. The trouble? well you are still using your mouse and people might think this is the real size of the product, so web pages look tiny.

After that it is a nice use of the Facebook API and if you are a Facebook addict am sure you will be happy to read your stats.

HP eprint Live

I actually like the simplicity of this campaign, it shows the functionality of the device without being forced.

I just would like to know how they managed the printing queue and replacing the cartridges. It would have been nice to see the printer live, so you could see your suggestion being printed.

Samsung Project Space Planes

Brilliant use of tech and great idea that will appeal first to the geek audience but can easily expand to a wider one. This should generate word of mouth easily. The product has a genuine reason to be included in the project, something that is rare these days.

But why using Tumblr? if this is to keep it real, it's a bad choice...and please make sure someone is answering Twitter and not just posting blog post updates.

Now why did the founder of Rathergood agreed to be involved is beyond me...

Turboboost Touchdown

Taking on the "Spot the Bull" concept you need to found where the rocket is going to land, a concept that follow the techxperts image of the brand.

Beautify executed with some great video footage the only problem here is that it's not live. At least the team are having fun doing this and this shown in the design and functionalities.

Microsoft: Kin

I am pass the target audience but I did not realised that the teens of today are so well behaved, leave such an existing life and listen to folk music all day longs. Around me it's more like drinking on the street corners, worrying about how to fund their education and will they ever get a job. Is it me or they are all white and good looking?

Did you notice that in one of the video the girl write her number on the guy hand? I mean he had his kin with him and he did not even use it.

So what about the site? nice stuff like Facebook connect to try the device but the rest is classic product demo and videos.

The Facebook journey associated campaign is the hills or whatever new reality TV show teens are in? is it real? If I was then I would have fake it to be honest.

Verbatim Monster

You not really creating a monster but you can have fun watching it fight. If you are in that kind of thing I would recommend downloading http://www.bbc.co.uk/cbbc/bamzooki/zookkit/ because to be number one you would have to go over 100.000 fights, I mean honestly who as the time?. I do admire the work done on this site and by looking at the number of robots it's seem an extremely popular site. Will you think Verbatim next time you are in the shop? I am not sure... http://www.verbatim.jp/senshuken/

Samsung 24h Beijing

Sorry if this is an old campaign but one of the section is still on coming soon. Does any of you think that maybe Kim and Josh are not real? That maybe Kim and Josh did not took the picture themselves? Where are the picture of Kim drunk after drinking too much and the ones of Josh pucking in the hotel because his stomach could not cope with the raw fish? getting a lot of error on this site too, probably the fact that it's implement in a badly coded framework. http://www.samsung.com/uk/wb500/

snowstories.kodak.com

A seasonal site for sure, packed full of the usual guides to Ski resorts, you can downloads them to your phone but most of the info are available on the net and are not that useful. What's useful if you are a surfer is to be redirect to the Rossignol website where you know when to try new kit. The questions is where are the stories, it would have been great for people to submit their best snow photo or having a video blog of the people going on a sky trip. This site is a waste of time as it actually do not demonstrate anything about Kodak product. http://snowstories.kodak.com/

thephotographicadventuresofnickturpin.com

A great idea but badly executed. The all point of the campaign is to be able to select a part of the image, it would have been nice be able to actually be able to have a large version of the photograph and a large version of the results. It's is really a shame that they are not offering a full blog (Twitter doesn't cut it) of Nick's journey or let us see other photo taken during the trip. As for the presentation of the phone; using videos hosted on Yourtube might had your marketing guy exited thinking it will go viral, well it didn't and it look cheap. http://www.thephotographicadventuresofnickturpin.com
