#FindTheEggs
"Like to activate Eggdar", what a way to get more people to be connected to your brand....
I don't know the tech behind this site but some postcodes are full of eggs and other are empty.
Still it's over in 5 minutes max, it's relevant to Easters and it's a nice use of Street View (even if not the most original one) but am disappointed this end up being a data collection exercise as you have to fill in your name and email to receive the voucher.

Kitkat: Choose a chunky champion
What is scary is how thick is the FB audience, the post on the wall clearly asks the users to go to the app to vote but no; 80% of the comments are people posting their vote.
This is probably why the app in itself is actually boring. They could have made more entertaining with some extra footage of the superheroes explaining why you should choose one flavor on top of another or by rewarding people that voted by entering them in a draw to get a box of your favorite flavor so you can convert your friends and family to participate.

Electrolux: Now you're cooking
Understanding your audience is worth more than anything else. They haven't spend a lot of money producing the films or taken the photos but they have spend a lot of time understanding what the food lovers like. They like beautiful imageries and Electrolux give them just that, even the classic quote image.
Add Tumblr and Pinterest and you start having a dialogue with your audience.

Bacon Barter
This is show one thing: when the product is loved it doesn't matter if your campaign isn't clever or new as long as you had a bit of humour to the mix.
Everyone love bacon (look away veggies) so am surprised it took so long for someone to reuse the classic A to B travel with no money idea and apply it to bacon!
Am even more surprise that the Youtube views and Tweeters followers are so low but hopefully the campaign is going to get memento soon, because everyone love bacon.
To be honest launching this campaign during the 9/11 week might not have been the best move from a PR point of view.

Ban&Jerry: Wanna Spoon?
Let's face it, this campaign is all about the play on words because it's not the most original used of FB Social Graph, still the fact that you also get a coupon will make this little app popular.

Wonka Wrapper
In principle the idea should be fun, in practically it doesn't work as you can not hold the pack and use your mouse at the same time in an elegant manner. Also the reaction time is poor. So what do you get in the end? lots of video of kids that don't know what to do.

Heinz: Get Well Soup
Genius, pure genius...even if the soup arrived in 3 to 4 days...personalisation is the way to go

Innocent: Tweet and Eat
Sound like a good plan but it looks like as they have run of of coupons the only things left are the lowers ones... The trouble here is that I don't know how many tweets are needed to reach the next level, so am not really tempted to do so and the promotion is only for the veg pots.

Doritos and max
A cool comic experience for sure, the soundtrack is actually impressive...but the interactions are sadly not enough in my view. As for the story we have to see what happen in episode 2 but this seems like a take on Kickarse and Spiderman. The most interesting thing about the campaign is that the evil genius is called OMGenius and the name is already taken on Twitter and various social places, therefore it seems that the campaign will not be as integrate and fun as one hoped.

Choose up 2 u
It seems that the everyone is doing multiple video streams these days, still nice tech and execution.
It's a shame that the only thing you notice being in sync are the hands, Superhero or Supermodel seems to be the most planned shoot.
As it's stand, I haven't got a clue what flavours are in the packets so I hope the US market are aware of the brand.

Heinz and David
Considering that David Guetta music is similar to what happen if you eat to many beans I though it was worth mentioning these 2 campaigns together.
Heinz: Get a 25p voucher for free or a 50p one if you share with friends, why they haven't integrate the all process on Facebook? This feel a bit cheap to me and a lot of steps for such a small reward.
As for David he is using Facebook to flock his album, and as much as I hate to say it, it's seems simple and straight forward. This should help people using Facebook credits as Paypal is not available yet. Better than itunes? I think it's going to be hard for better to make the move only for a practical point of view.
and in case you missed it, let's not forget the Kaiser Chiefs make your own album promotion.

LG Ultimate Jellybean count
This is a pretty boring campaign in terms of interactivity but considering that we are talking about white goods , that the message is about the large capacity of the fridge than it's not a bad response. Low level of engagement and a bit of humour. Maybe they could start a theme?
Next week: How many creative can you fit in the fridge?

The Rise and Fall of Esteban
Probably inspired by http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FVq0HdiM-Ok
The game in itself is pretty average base on the classic, see how far you can go and it's a shame because even the prizes did not encourage me to try it over and over. Still it's interesting to see that some money as been put in creating an Android and iphone version of it.

The world most exclusive web site
The site allows varying levels of access based on a user's Twitter followers. The more followers you have, the more pages you can view, I was kicked right at the start.
I haven't got a clue what's it for and I don't care but you have to admire the idea.

Fairtweets
Brilliant idea, that you just want to try and therefore more than likely to press the "Tweet it" button. A nice way to hijack a medium people use everyday without being intrusive, smart move from the brand.
I am not sure people will use the extensions provided but it's smart to have provided them. All in HTML 5, rock on...

Magnum: Pleasure hunt
It's a on-off only type of experience and the breath of partners is impressive. The partners probably get more exposure than the product wish is interesting. It's a little game and it's smart, would have been even more impressive if you could do a Facebook connect and the character visited your page.
