I never saw Spook so I was interested in the URL, thinking it would be a take on Facebook. It's none of it and considering how much the BBC have played recently with video and interaction it's disappointing to see the site constrained to such a small window and only use simple choice interaction. The Oddcast technology is still good but perhaps we should try now to use it in a more creative way. The classic viral options are offered and the Facebook integration works well but a mobile download could have been viable too. http://www.facespook.co.uk

We would loved to have been able to use a larger window for the application but the amount of processing required for the 3D facemapping means that user experience would have been compromised. We also looked into a mobile extension of the application but again, this just wasn't viable. The film would have taken too long to download and the screen size just isn't sufficent to properly showcase the technology.
Your feedback and interest is very much appreciated. It's still early days but it certainly looks like this campaign is shaping up to be a big success.
