Hunter: Together Through Any Weather

Classic users submitted content competition asking people to upload photos based on a daily theme, this being on FB and with the love for Instagram people have at the moment this should do well.

Trouble is sometime the prize isn't existing enough, today it was all about fleece welly socks, am not the target audience so therefore am not interested.

Puma Social Cards

Everyone must have been exited about this one as it follow the trends of using Intagram on a night out and add a bit of fun and social on top of it. Sadly this is also the downfall of it: If you already use Instagram you are not going to switch to another app.

See above: a search for Any Time / Paris / Any teammate return 2 results.

They had a great tech but the end results actually disappoint as it's all over so quick and it's a real shame as this could be such a beautiful and engaging experience.

Nike Better World

Come on! with all the money Nike spend during the years am not surprised they can actually use the hours of footage to make this and let's face it, they paid people to put it together.

Still good use of HTML5, good cause and nice footer...

Converse: The Canvas Experience

This is really really cool but why is this not an online experience? 30s videos don't cut it these days, simple things like their app works much better.

Nike Air Live Show

Nike + Castro: Nike Air Live Show_ english from Castro Innovation on Vimeo.

Of course it's not about keeping the trainer in the Air, it's about making it move up the ramp but the link with online is really impressive.

Puma Maradonna

A Facebook app that actually uses Facebook functionalities, it's refreshing and really really simple. I am sure with a bit of organisation you can get on the top of the leaderboard easily.

What's interesting is that considering that most people have a lot of friends on Facebook the top people have only 23 players and 2 countries. It does show that really Facebook is for close friends only...

Danger makes Legend

Impressive tech and am sure people that actually live in the cities will love to be involved, owning their neighbourhood and their stadium.

For the rest of the audience am not so sure, as this is turn base game you are hoping the audience will be involved in this giant game of rock, paper and scissor long enough to make it interesting.

Have a Camper Day

If you like Electroplankton, you will love this site. Great idea to use real objects for the interaction. Sadly once you are done you will never come back. At least you can select other weavers to experience the different scenarios.

Earthkeepers Timberland

This site borrow from left right and centre and managed to deliver a cool experience. Even if short lived, still get your glasses on.

Adidas Mega Dinner

It's only a big big portal that fire some specific videos depending of your choices, not big, not clever but well executed. The 360 video is a nice little idea. I hoped for an Easter egg but I could not find one.

Nike: Grid

Absolute madness of a campaign, I would love to see the tech behind this. Run from one phone box to another to earn badges, hello foursquare, and claim a portion of London.

As much as I love it, what happen? Well if you look at the leaderboard it looks like it wasn't a mad rush to get this done, except a few, most top 10 people got 2 badges and under 100 points. E1 for example had only 8 participants! N19 only 4! The campaign should have run for a week at least and not 24h.

Return on investment? Let' s hope they win awards for the concept and get some PR out of it because I don't think it's going to boost sale.

Secret Lewis

My biggest problem with this campaign is that I can no imagine Lewis Hamilton doing it in real life, I know I should use some poetic marketing licence but I just can't. The training videos trying to bring products and exercise routines are painful to watch.

For such a big ARG campaign, the site is poorly designed and the 3D games are so far pretty basic, but you have to admired the fact that the site is translated in 9 languages (except the "about page"?)

One of the clue on Youtube, got less than 500 views, the official forum is deserted so they are going to need a lot of PR to get this going for the next few months.

The question is do F1 fans care? and will F1 fans buy Reebok shoes out of it? My guess, they have wasted their money...

Balance 365

365 films to entertain you all year round, that's probably why having an iphone app to support it is a good idea as you can expect people to come back to the site every days. Especially since I don't see any RSS feed or Twitter account to follow. Outlook or Google calendar integration could have been good too.

Bjernie Fast Food

Converse has being doing something similar in the past with http://www.thisistheindexpage.com/. Still it's nice to see a brand that do not advertise itself and is just in it for the fun.

The Puma Index

Let's say there is another massive crash in the economy, are the models really going to end up nude? no, of course not, so why would I want to check this site over and over again or have it run on mydesktop / iphone? If the site was launched at the start of the year I probably could have seen it has a bit fun but having seen the repercussion of the recession around me I found it of bad taste. If you could at least check the clothes in details I could have seen it as a navigation gimmick and the site would have had a purpose. If Puma want to make a statement they should lower the price of their products or give vouchers away. http://theindex.puma.com/

Crazy for Crocs

You would assume that with all the sponsorts they would have had some money to create a good site, but no, it's back to the 90's with a design and coding that look less than professional. Did they have Crocs on their hands when they did the site? http://www.crazy4crocs.com/

Jimmy Choo 72

Considering that all the girls I know would do anything for a pair of Jimmy Choo, I am surprised there isn't any more entries. It's an old school side that could have been a bit more existing with videos and there is no excuse for using a shit catalogue function in the "Collection" section. One thing to get out of this is that if you ask people to register to comment they won't do it. If you have moderation anyway leave it open. http://www.jimmychoo72.com

onwards.tv

Bespoke creative content for brands is become the norm these days as brands try to show that they are doing interesting stuff with all the money they get from over price products. Nike is doing his bit with a collaboration with James Jarvis, probably in a attempt to replicate the success of Martin for Silas. So give us more, give us wallpaper, screensaver, a Facebook page, a special shoes, I don't know but use it as much as possible and let's hope it doesn't have the same fate as Flat Eric. http://onwards.tv/
