Budweiser: Red Light

Granted if you not lucky enough to win one you will have to fork out $150 for one. The device isn't about the products but it fit perfectly for what the brand stand for, how you enjoy it and the association with the sport couldn't be even more perfect.

Branded products don't have to suck you know...

...even if they need to sort out the delay it seems.

Parche Poderoso

Untitled from DDB Colombia on Vimeo.

I know that Sharp is running a global fan stats http://www.sharpfanlabs.com but I found this little app more personal.

Heineken: Fever Keeper

Let's forget how bad is the design of the Facebook page and concentrate on the idea. Hide all the Champions League content from your browser so you can enjoy the game later.

Great idea, good PR but I don't think people will use it more than once and for 5 minutes as it does hide indeed everything.

Samsung: Project Teamwork

So basically you set-up some events and you try loosely to connected it to the products by including it in some shots. I supposed it's branded content but why would I choose the phone after watching these, I still don't know.

Johnnie Walker:Step Inside the circuit

Beautiful shoots but the experience is too quick, still turn on your webcam and you will love it. It's actually a shame this is on Facebook...

zlatan zuperfly

They had a great tech but the end results actually disappoint as it's all over so quick and it's a real shame as this could be such a beautiful and engaging experience.

FA Cup Final 360

A record that is going to be hard to beat, the execution is simple, it's the concept that's a winner and the fact that you can tag your friend too is really smart.

Heineken Star Player

Brilliant integration of live event and digital offering, play on Facebook or on your mobile. Worldwide offering, some badges and  the ability to create personalized leagues, it's all covered for maximum pick-up.

As always the question is: does this stop you enjoying the game or does this add to the experience?

Laxx Swtizerland

It's only 360, but I like it...I would have prefer to have a straight run on one of the slope instead of the edited version, still if this doesn't make you want to leave the office and go skying I don't know what will.

Missing here are all the sharing mechanic...

Encourage Omar

I praised any campaign that help awareness of disabilities.

But this is not emotive interaction, this is just a slider action.

Danger makes Legend

Impressive tech and am sure people that actually live in the cities will love to be involved, owning their neighbourhood and their stadium.

For the rest of the audience am not so sure, as this is turn base game you are hoping the audience will be involved in this giant game of rock, paper and scissor long enough to make it interesting.

Powerade Zero

You get a 4:30 documentary, a poor version of Nike + and some tests. I was expecting something a bit more sexy to be honest.

Facebook Vs Hamilton

A really interesting idea and am surprise that there is only 4000 people that have taken place so far. There is 28.800 spaces and 11 days to go, so they now would need over 2000 people a day to sign up.
Does this prove that the Facebook advertising days are over?

Epic Mix

Foursquare on the slopes. It make sense for people to want to record their data and try and collect achievement. No effort is required by the user and the breath of information is worth a visit to the site. The automatic updates to Facebook and Twitter server as a simple reminder of your time at the resort but the iphone app has more to offer for people visiting the resort. A real added value for your holidays.

Adidas micoach

Hopefully Adidas has learn from Nike and Apple to get their product right. I just think it's a shame the design is so bland and some pages take you to some new window instead of being integrated on the site. Other issues are adverts for section inside the section they advertise or sections that are close to un-register user without any call to action to register.

Reb Bull Youtube Battle

It's a good idea that use Youtube tech nicely and reused the footage of the events but the outcome are always the same and therefore you get frustrated. They should have bough a proper channel and use a widget.

Nike: Write The Future

Not only this is an amazing piece of work but the social / marketing / viral clins d'oeil are spot on, I hope this is not lost on the audience (it sadly probably will).

Could this clip actually been seen as Nike sticking 2 fingers at their audience, showing them how they are manipulated, showing how everything is controlled? am I just really cynical?

Jillz loves football

Fun campaign where users are encourage to vote to reverse the world cup rule of banning players to take their shirt off.

The site is terrible of course and they could have improve it with full screen option, wallpapers for PC and mobile, much better design and more rushes from the shoot.

Nike: Grid

Absolute madness of a campaign, I would love to see the tech behind this. Run from one phone box to another to earn badges, hello foursquare, and claim a portion of London.

As much as I love it, what happen? Well if you look at the leaderboard it looks like it wasn't a mad rush to get this done, except a few, most top 10 people got 2 badges and under 100 points. E1 for example had only 8 participants! N19 only 4! The campaign should have run for a week at least and not 24h.

Return on investment? Let' s hope they win awards for the concept and get some PR out of it because I don't think it's going to boost sale.

Adidas: Call yourself a fan?

You could have a statue of yourself in your team home town, how cool is that? even better your statue will be regularly be pissed on, ridiculed and trashed.

I really like the shit tentative of the designer to recreate the statue material by applying some Photoshop effect. I hate the fact that you have to register straigh-away and it's sadly a quizz and upload your photo competition (upload mechanic is poor).
