#FindTheEggs

"Like to activate Eggdar", what a way to get more people to be connected to your brand....

I don't know the tech behind this site but some postcodes are full of eggs and other are empty.

Still it's over in 5 minutes max, it's relevant to Easters and it's a nice use of Street View (even if not the most original one) but am disappointed this end up being a data collection exercise as you have to fill in your name and email to receive the voucher.

Durex: SOS Condoms

The joke isn't new but the execution feels fresh with the inclusion of a real time app and a response team. The Facebook page has only just over 1,500 Likes and the voting is pretty low.

They need to show the service in action, to show this is a real and happening. Photos / videos, live updates of condoms delivered because at the moment this looks like a fake stunt.

Nokia: Gotham City

I haven't got a clue what Nokia and Batman have in common, I don't really see Batman relying on a smart phone for his day day-to-day business. What's even more frustrating is that I have to use Facebook connect and Like Nokia to get started. The clues are on the Nokia Facebook page so there is no need to push people to do so.

Nevertheless this is a great use of Nokia own map tech and it's impressive. Sadly, like most people, I will probably stick with Google Map as the 3D is actually still only restricted to major cities.

25 Years Ubi

A really hard game but who care? it's fun even if not original. A good initiative from Ubi to give some limelight to his studios and the execution is polished.

Signed Finds

How to help people visit a charity store? simply put a signed T-shirt of a cool artist and hide it. It make sense and it's a nice way to bring in a young audience.

New Ikea store

Look! we are destroying all these lovely trees for you to buy them again in our store (but in a flat pack).

Fun but I still don't know when this store is actually going to be finish.

RedBull: Street Art View

A lot of site have collected the best of Goggle street view but Redbull just nailed it with a simple site that does what it said on the tin and does it well. I would have throw in a few tag to be able to classified thing better but I am being picky. I actually like the fact that there is no comments or voting.

Going the distance

The best bits about this campaign is that they managed to have their registration form on Facebook.

After that it's a heavily edited joruney that ticks all the right boxes for people looking for love. Great use of Facebook and google map.

Music is my life

I just had to play this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FaMApWem9RM when looking at the site. Nevertheless the site as a simple interface that encourage exploration and the emotional aspect will push you to submit.

There is also an app to support the campaign, they should have work with Foursquare in my opinion on this one.

Still great user experience.

GeoSweep

An interesting take on Google Map API. The instruction video is actually is actually well made and I like the personalisation element (will my house win). But I think they will go bust in 6 months.

Walkers Rainy Day

It hasn't got all the bells and whistles of an experience sit but look under the bonnet and this is a good tech piece. Code entry, square selector, weather stats, mobile play, registration. Impressive really...

Amnesty: Demand Dignity

Again an old site but it shows the constrains of designing sites for European and Arabic languages. Try it yourself (they could have done more).

It's a shame that the form to enter your "voice" is so long, it kills the call to action spontaneity and I don't see who is going to SMS to the site?

There is also no reason why the site still show a beta message (data left from testing?) since the campaign is finished. I know charity haven't got a lot of money but if you are the agency doing the job, you should finished it and try to get you money back with PR.

The nice idea behind all this is that people could comment on the "voices", connect to people or be connected via people. The reality of it, for this sort of campaign, no one does, as seen by the 0 comments and 0 connection on most post.

The mission section, which is hard to find, has various level of content but is actually the best part of the site with some great voice blogs. I would have pushed the visibility of this content.

But the campaign worked, with over 50,000 voices raise, I am sure they could have had more if they have fixed some navigation and design issues. Sadly doesn't looks like the site has a "exit strategy" (cringe).

Coca Cola Christmas Decoration

It's cheesy, it's Christmas, it's Coke. Whoever decide to use the Coke's jingle should be shot and this could work so much better on Street View but it's a fun little piece of work that works well with the TV adds. A isometric view might have been better and it would have been nice to be able to resize the decorations. For some reason I don't think my creation will pass the moderation. http://xmas.coke.com/v/en_GB/

Wispa Gold Message

Can't believe I missed the deadline for this one as it's a fantastic online / offline campaign. Brand awareness to the max, it's perfect, it's lovely and warm and gives the public a chance to shine. The site doesn't look much but the google map implementation is done really well and you have to praise them for thinking of creating a team of helpers to encourage people to submit. People will be talking about their advert, take pictures of the them and share them, great viral potential even if only in England key cities.http://www.wispagoldmessages.com

Vodafone 360

Online, mobile and offline in one simple campaign...will you do it for 36K? I like the concept and am sure lot of students will enter it; that's probably their target audience. The site is pretty basic but they are trying to recreate the mobile experience via the interface with a various degree of success. Nice search by mobile number but would I like to see search by location too. With a bit of effort it's easy money so get stuck in! http://allyourmates.vodafone.co.uk/360/

Cineworld UP

Am sure the people behind this site would have love to not be constrained to the Cinemorld site frame as this promotion would be more impressive full screen. It's simple, the share function is done via addthis and it does the job but it would have been some much better with some films clips, some cool animations and some sounds. The leaderboard could show your house going up until it stop, encouraging you to be more competitive.
