Donate your friends
The hardest thing to do on Facebook is to make sure people share, so this campaign put sharing at the heart of the execution with the simple gimmick of donating friends for a good cause. The user experience is simple and fun and therefore encourage you to get involved, so enjoy throwing your friends around.

CNN Ireport
Not a campaign as such but a lot of good UGC ideas in there. From personal profile, to comments to sharing a lot of effort as be made to make the navigation easy even if I think a simple next and previous would help a lot when viewing articles!

Puma Maradonna
What's interesting is that considering that most people have a lot of friends on Facebook the top people have only 23 players and 2 countries. It does show that really Facebook is for close friends only...

Adidas micoach
Hopefully Adidas has learn from Nike and Apple to get their product right. I just think it's a shame the design is so bland and some pages take you to some new window instead of being integrated on the site. Other issues are adverts for section inside the section they advertise or sections that are close to un-register user without any call to action to register.

Pringles Oversharers
Once you pop you can stop, and the same goes with status updates on Twitter and Facebook for some people. So this campaign is a bit of fresh air to have fun at your friends.
They really are throwing everything in to make this viral: customisable video, T-shirts and Facebook function and that's my problem. They should have spend more time on the design, scratch the video (it has been done to death), do more with Facebook than a wall message that look likes an ad and push the Twitter feeds to the forefront. I would I liked to be able to browse the tweets by subject for examples (job, relationship, friend, tv..)

The Johnny Cash Project
What a great way for fan to say a farewell to a rock legend. Create a frame and be part of the official video. The tools and interface could do with a bit more work to improve the user experience.
The ability to replay how someone has done a frame is a great way for people to learn how to improve their own contribution and the ability to select the type of frames that are displayed make you want to watch the video over and over.

Jimmy Choo: Trainer Hunt
A simply treasure hunt, primary on Foursquare so they check-in in exclusive places that relate to the brand ethos. Also on Facebook and Twitter so all bases are covered
Campaigns don't need to be expensive or complicate. Just fun will do...

Lays: Happiness

A simple campaign that is supported by some good off-line activity with People magazine. Good to have Flickr integration would have been even better to have Picasa and manual upload as this limit the number of upload. Simple categories for a simple design, there is nothing wrong with it except that it's not ground breaking.

My Space: Fan Video

Myspace lets you log in with Facebook connect, nice... the "put yourself in the picture" campaign is not new but the execution is slick and the artists reflect the audience. The fact that you can create your own mix makes it more interesting, good share options and you can even buy the tracks you are listening too. I nearly cried when Alicia Keys sang to me... http://www.myspace.com/fanvideo

Coca Cola Christmas Decoration

It's cheesy, it's Christmas, it's Coke. Whoever decide to use the Coke's jingle should be shot and this could work so much better on Street View but it's a fun little piece of work that works well with the TV adds. A isometric view might have been better and it would have been nice to be able to resize the decorations. For some reason I don't think my creation will pass the moderation. http://xmas.coke.com/v/en_GB/

Coca Cola Expedition 206

They are young, they are free and they are going to bring you happiness. The submission phase is done but you still can vote for the best team. All team members are nice, cute, clever and fun just like Coke (pass the sick bucket now). At the moment what's interesting is the use of gigya.com to handle all the connections and sharing to social networks. The next phase is to follow the progress of the winning team throughout 2010, why would you do this is anyone guess, so I hope Coke has planned some cool user interactions along the way to subtend the interest. http://www.expedition206.com

Cineworld UP

Am sure the people behind this site would have love to not be constrained to the Cinemorld site frame as this promotion would be more impressive full screen. It's simple, the share function is done via addthis and it does the job but it would have been some much better with some films clips, some cool animations and some sounds. The leaderboard could show your house going up until it stop, encouraging you to be more competitive.
