Intel: The Beauty Inside

Taking its concept from an underground movement of digital film makers creating stories together, Intel is trying to bound everyone and create the ultimate social movie.

Apart from the people selected and their mums I don't see why the general public will spend time on the FB page watching the auditions and then follow the film (If you want a great audition video watch this). Most of these auditions are from under 16 to probably haven't got the catch to buy an Intel PC at the moment.

Samsung: Unleash your Fingers

From the viral videos to the website; they could not go wrong, using the most famous "Finger Tutting"  (I still think this is a shit name to describe this activity) artist on the globe and Justice for the soundtrack.

The website is slick with everything that you hope for to learn and remix and create videos to spread the message even further. Doesn't innovate but do the job really well.

AT&T: Daybreak2012

Tim Kring from Heroes helped developed the story and the production value is one of a sitcom for sure.
It's all amazing and beautiful but does it actually deliver the message? Trying to found out about the device when playing the experience is actually annoying; if you do you are bounce off to AT&T boring site and terrible R&D videos.

This is a shame become the tech they are developing are actually interesting.

An app is available on Android and Iphone to play along, so you don't need the Samsung Galaxy to take part. The App is impressive and worth a download but how many people will take the step to do so?

As crafted as this is I wonder if ARG is really the right choice for their audience,  they probably think that if enough nerds get involved, enough nerds might buy the device and become ambassadors for it. I personally think that most nerds will enjoy the ride but stick with their devices.

Wonka Wrapper

In principle the idea should be fun, in practically it doesn't work as you can not hold the pack and use your mouse at the same time in an elegant manner. Also the reaction time is poor. So what do you get in the end? lots of video of kids that don't know what to do.

KLM Passport

Perfect for an audience that can not be bother with Path, for the digital people out there there are other apps that can do this better. Still a good move as they say: making it the ideal way to pass the time on your flight home.

Sprawl2

Am sorry Arcade Fire but this is pretentious shit. As much as the front page is a dry run test for the webcam, the response is poor in the actual experience.  Am sure there is a lot of tech behind this and as much as I love the tentative at doing something as cool as http://goo.gl/IFgm9 it sadly fell flat when using that effect in the video. The song is also too long for anyone to care moving their hands or doing the same repetitive gesture with the mouse as the interaction is more miss than hit.

Just Dance 3: Autodance

A bit like Songify in a way but for videos. The kids will love it for sure!

Choose up 2 u

It seems that the everyone is doing multiple video streams these days, still nice tech and execution.

It's a shame that the only thing you notice being in sync are the hands, Superhero or Supermodel seems to be the most planned shoot.

As it's stand, I haven't got a clue what flavours are in the packets so I hope the US market are aware of the brand.

All is not lo.st

A video dance message for chrome only. As much as the Wilderness Downtown is awesome, I like the artistic aspect of this project. Of course the message of hope for Japan is lost and people are writing rude messages instead. Still good fun...

Zyrtec park unleashed

An allergy medication does a game to win tablets? This is not actually a game but a series of videos, even the actual mini games are basic and only there to reinforce branding, and do they like their branding! the product placements are everywhere and actually killing the experience.

Saying that it's a well developed site, smooth and well designed

La Folle journee de Julien

Simple film for the teens, has all the clichés you can expect but actually funny.

Of course you only watch it once and the Facebook integration is no more than a way to introduce some selection mechanic but the products integration is actually nicely done in the script.

Make up forever

Taking the carousel concept to the next level, good interface, simple interaction and the time spend on the site is am sure really high, with a simple brand name like HD am sure you will remember it.

The making-off is worth a look just for the stair case set.

Laxx Swtizerland

It's only 360, but I like it...I would have prefer to have a straight run on one of the slope instead of the edited version, still if this doesn't make you want to leave the office and go skying I don't know what will.

Missing here are all the sharing mechanic...

Goo Dare Wins

Everyone love Creme Egg as a brand so why all their website look so badly designed? too much copy, too much way of getting lost.

Integrating them into the Spots Vs Stripes campaign is a good idea even if it could confuse people if not explain properly.

Get read of all the clutter and you have an old school user generated content competition as the core of the campaign.

Danny Knows Best

Shit site, old idea but the fact that is the Royal Opera House is interesting as they are trying to reach a different audience.

The Italian Experience

The point is that this is not selling the product but the country. There is only a few normal people in there, most of them are actually good looking, I wonder why? Could this be that most of the videos uploaded have been made by a crew going around and founding good looking people?

The stories are over produce to be honest but I supposed they are trying to sell a dream.

Encourage Omar

I praised any campaign that help awareness of disabilities.

But this is not emotive interaction, this is just a slider action.

Demo Slam

A competition for geeks, you have to give Google their due for trying to bit Apple. Forget "there's an app for that" this look more real. So get pass the obviously directed entries to get the people going and see what happen in the next few weeks...

Heinz secret ingredient

Beautifully executed and perfect for the audience even if a bit over the top, I wonder if people are really going to try Ketchup in this way. Nice loader and welcome back message, this show a good attention to detail from the team.

If you like this go and play http://www.cookingmamacookoff.com/home.php

Fable 3

A game for gamers, the audience is small, Xbox 360 gamers that have a smart phone and that will purchase Fable III (you should by the way).

It's simple game but it works a treat, found treasures, reclaim places, plant flags (hello FourSquare) and get points for you Xbox account. Easy to pick up and available for Window 7, Iphone and Android.
