£1,000 Foursquare checking

Well at least it's a way to get people though the doors.

Levis Road Wear

Crystal clear pictures for the collection but shame there isn't a straight link to the store to buy.

The Zoom and pan works well so why am I not exited? Well because the protagonist are so good looking it hurt, the photos and videos are so posed and edited that any sense of this been actually a real road trip is gone.

The mapologue is interesting as there is a bit of incentive to visit a store but who still give users wallpapers?

Blackberry Playbook

In an effort to let your experience the product, Blackberry create a fun app. The trouble? well you are still using your mouse and people might think this is the real size of the product, so web pages look tiny.

After that it is a nice use of the Facebook API and if you are a Facebook addict am sure you will be happy to read your stats.

Malibu Music Mixer

I am going to be lazy here to be on brand:

If they managed to make this work with your Itunes tracks then it will be worth downloading.

I still think that Radio Maliboom boom still hasn't entered the public space and that most consumer will not associate it with Malibu.

My mom hates Dead Space 2

Really cheap way of talking to your core audience and have some fun with them...based on the "Two Girsl, One Cup" reactions videos; they have a # tag #mymomhatesdeadspace2

http://www.youtube.com/user/deadspace

Not in my Cuppa

Well designed charity site, you can't expect more really.

What's interesting is the "Take Part" section that gives people clear and simple ways to participate with the campaign, they just forgot Twittbon.

The Art of Technology

To start with you need to know that Brian Badonde is a character from Facejacker, secondly you actually need to found him funny. If this is the case then you might actually found this campaign middy  funny?

If this is not the case you hope Microsoft will realised that their agency tried to sell them a shit campaign on the promise that it will go down well with the kids.

They actually using MSN video page for the campaign, trying to be YouTube, the problem? it look shit and you get server an advert before you can even view the content. #fail

Goo Dare Wins

Everyone love Creme Egg as a brand so why all their website look so badly designed? too much copy, too much way of getting lost.

Integrating them into the Spots Vs Stripes campaign is a good idea even if it could confuse people if not explain properly.

Get read of all the clutter and you have an old school user generated content competition as the core of the campaign.

Speedkills

Could have make even better if they add a Facebook app but then again the simplicity probably works for it. Will am sure be share around even if they already reached their target.

HP eprint Live

I actually like the simplicity of this campaign, it shows the functionality of the device without being forced.

I just would like to know how they managed the printing queue and replacing the cartridges. It would have been nice to see the printer live, so you could see your suggestion being printed.

Mercedes Benz Twitter Race

Good spray of celebrities to cover all market and demography. The concept is still a bit vague in term of what is expected from the audience. The issue? making sure people care on the Feb. 2. to get engage more than 5 minutes.
I am surprise they haven't create a Facebook event reminder for it.

Still: I don't want to "like" your brand to see your campaign, no matter how great it might be.

Galaxy Player 50

One page, a lot of YouTube videos and a few bugs in Chrome. Do you really see yourself as one of these stereotype? Perhaps you have to be American to get the humour.

Going the distance

The best bits about this campaign is that they managed to have their registration form on Facebook.

After that it's a heavily edited joruney that ticks all the right boxes for people looking for love. Great use of Facebook and google map.

Music is my life

I just had to play this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FaMApWem9RM when looking at the site. Nevertheless the site as a simple interface that encourage exploration and the emotional aspect will push you to submit.

There is also an app to support the campaign, they should have work with Foursquare in my opinion on this one.

Still great user experience.

Skins

I am too old to care about the new series of Skins but they always do some nice digital integrations, so this year each characters has a Twitter account and there is also a DailyBooth feed. Would be cool if they could have FourSquare to make it even more real.

Make a swisssh

So you spend thousand promoting the competition on TV, mags, radio, blog, you get deals for contents, you get massive prizes, you get a mobile version of the site, you employ Cat Deley and you even have a stand at the UK Hair show and what do you get? less then 2000 entries and most of them still pictures. Bravo!

Could it be because your URL is shit? Could it be because your audience don't care about uploading? Could it be because you site looks like it has been made in the 90's?

This competition would have been good enough as a Facebook app.

Puma: Life Scoreboard

There are many sites that already let you rate stuff Vs Stuff, Puma take it to the next level (hey they got some money).
So you can do this online or on your mobile. I like the fact that they are not scare of pushing a beta version of the idea and official and private scoreboard are a nice addition. The question is: who is really going to do this once the 5 minutes of fun are gone?

Sauve un ami: SAM

Am not convince people are going to do this but the applications are interesting. One Facebook app linked to an event that randomly choose the sober designated driver. One Iphone app that send SMS to a drunk person to remind them not to drive (why would you not just talk to them?). Lot of offline events too, good effort for sure to reach a younger audience.

Schweppes Profile

I hate the fact that you have to "Like it" to use it, I hate the fact that they reap off someone else idea, but at least they are honest by calling it a hype. Still am doing it as they do not put any brand watermark on the final result. What's in it for them? nothing...
